PRC-CSGA-1.0 is a programmable, general purpose strain gauge amplifier used for load cells and other strain gauge applications where measuring small differential signal is required. It is a microprocessor controlled device that allow the user to adjust the gain and offset through a standard mini USB connection located on the strain gauge amplifier by the included PC software program. PRC-CSGA-1.0 and the included PRC Software also allow the user to stream the gauge measurements directly to the PC in real time. The PRC-CSGA-1.0 stores the desired gains and offsets in non-volatile memory for stand-alone applications. The PRC-CSGA-1.0 can run solely from the USB 5V output or from any power supply ranging from 7 - 24V. There PRC-CSGA-1.0 contains a supplied exciter voltage for a strain gauge bridge that is regulated at 5V. Gain may be adjusted anywhere from 25 V/V to 2000 V/V. Variants of the PRC-CSGA-1.0 with custom gain ranges are available upon request.
